Momento was written by Christian Jansen and Michael Garcia of Islandeer. It's made up of two parts, one being the initial attraction to a person, or an object, and the other being the yearning for its attention and love. We feel that this is a common experience everybody goes through, notably the attraction. When you find someone or something that attracts you, you notice everything about it, and time almost stands still as you try to soak in the atmosphere and the experience. However, sometimes we get rejected or our efforts to attract go unnoticed, and we wanted to show a sense of yearning for a reciprocated attraction from that someone or something.
